In Colorado, Brandon Vaughn Yancey, Jr. was arrested in connection with the abusive head trauma death of his baby boy. News stories report the warrant affidavit allegedly states the deceased child succumbed to ruptured blood vessels between the skull and brain, bruising of the brain, rib fractures in various stages of healing, bruising on both sides of the head, chest and buttocks. The autopsy conducted by the Jefferson County Coroner’s office revealed the alleged cause of death is identified as abusive head trauma.
