In Illinois, Minee Subee in the Park remains closed during the investigation into the death of Benjamin Kingan. Melissa Calusinski faces two counts of first-degree murder for the death of the 16 month-old toddler boy who died from a skull fracture on January 13, 2009.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force has taken the day-care center’s files for the investigation. The Department of Children and Family Services has closed the day care and has provided alternative day care resources.
