In Indiana, news stories report a second infant death occurred while under the care of babysitter Tina Byrd. Two babies, Matthew Cheng and John K. Wenninger, have died since November 2009. Muncie Police department and the Delaware County Coroner Office are involved in the two cases. Matthew Cheng was four-months-old when he passed away this past Tuesday. John K. Wenninger was two-months-old when he passed away in November, approximately 11 weeks ago. While the death of baby Cheng is still under investigation, to-date baby Wenninger’s cause of death was not determined. According to news stories Ms. Byrd babysits for several children in her Muncie home.
