In Maine, Robert Hartford was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the death of his infant daughter, Ava. Mr. Hartford pled guilty to manslaughter in Knox County Superior Court. He will also serve probation. Ava passed away on August 19, 2008 from blunt force trauma to the head.
