In Missouri, Joanie Fowler and Matthew Dillon Taylor are charged in connection with the abusive head trauma death of two-year-old, Lillian Fowler. Joanie Fowler is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Matthew Dillon Taylor is expected to be charged with Second-degree Murder. Lillian passed away from her injuries at a Memphis hospital. The Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation. Allegedly, Ms. Fowler did not provide the true mechanism of injury to health care providers during their initial encounter with the child.
