In Ohio, John Ross, II was convicted of reckless homicide, felonious assault and child endangerment for the death of his infant son, John Ross, III. He was acquitted of aggravated murder. He will not face the death penalty. Mr. Ross faces sentencing in Summit County Common Pleas. He will face a minimum- mandatory sentence of life in prison with a possibility of parole in 15 years.
At the time of the infant’s death, Ross lived with the baby, the baby’s mother and six other children.
