In Ohio, Joseph Hector Ramirez pled guilty to charges of felonious assault and endangering children. His case was due to start trial in Warren County Common Pleas Court on June 29th. Judge Neal Bronson accepted Mr. Ramirez’s guilty plea and ordered a pre-sentence investigation. No sentencing date has been set. Mr. Ramirez faces eight years in prison for each charge.
Ramirez has been charged in connection with the injuries his infant daughter sustained, including a skull fracture, internal bleeding and multiple bruises. The infant is not expected to fully recover from her injuries but according to news stories is making progress.
