In South Carolina, a Richland County jury convicted Andrea Person for the 1998 death of Zachary Ulengchong. Ms. Person was convicted of homicide by child abuse. She once operated a daycare business out of her home. Allegedly, Ms. Person admitted to holding her hand over Zachary’s nose and mouth because he was fussy.  

Ms. Person also faces homicide by child abuse charges in connection with the 2001 death of four-month-old Elijah Brown and the 2007 death of two-month-old Michael Harris Walker.
