In Texas, Leanne Kathleen Donovan and Isaac Daniel Bigley were arrested in connection with the child abuse injuries sustained by their four-month-old daughter, Layla. Healthcare providers at Cook Children’s Medical Center discovered Layla had suffered multiple bruises and fractures to her arms, back, face, feet, hands, head, legs, and stomach. She was eventually released into foster care placement. Ms. Donovan and Mr. Bigley remain in custody at the Parker County Jail.

Thank you for picking this story up. As a teenager I was friends with Mr. Bigley until he befriended me several times. When I heard the news I was in complete shock that he could do this and all day my prayers have been for this very little girl that could not do anything about the abuse that was going on. I'm thankful that they were caught and hope that they are locked away for a very long time. Mr. Bigley had a chance to turn his life around, as I did, but choose to go on a downward spiral. Now I pray that the baby will be fine.
