In Texas, Leanne Kathleen Donovan and Isaac Daniel Bigley were arrested in connection with the child abuse injuries sustained by their four-month-old daughter, Layla. Healthcare providers at Cook Children’s Medical Center discovered Layla had suffered multiple bruises and fractures to her arms, back, face, feet, hands, head, legs, and stomach. She was eventually released into foster care placement. Ms. Donovan and Mr. Bigley remain in custody at the Parker County Jail.
